Hope I don't get into some sort of legal trouble for posting these (even though they're all over the Brazilian car sites by now):

Looks ugly IMHO. Plus the new Bora looks like a downsized, nicer version of it.

There's a lot of talk of FSI (115 to 200bhp) and TDI (105 to 170bhp) engines. There's a 3.2 FSI with 250bhp too.

No talk about V or W 8's yet.

A hint of Rover 75 V8 or Audi A6 about it at the front. Bit odd looking but i bet it'll warm on me - will be nice to see one in the metal, natch. Get a better idea of the proportions.

Yes, those are the ones that are currently on the press site. They're embargoed over here until the 15th.

I had a higher-quality set all uk-polo logo'd up sitting here waiting to go just after midnight, but you've beaten me to it.

However, I'm not too comfortable with them being up here just at the moment. Would you be willing to take them down until 1.5 hours from now? I would edit them myself - but I can't mod this section.

We know that the press office read this site and we can't afford to loose access.

not bad, but whip the VW badge off and you could easily fit a griffin in there and call it a signum

but just what can you do to a company car-aimed medium sized exec hatch/saloon to make it stand out? it looses all of it's tenuous identity then!

I feel inclined to second Babe's comments, it does remind me of the Bora, but not as nice. I'm pretty sure it will look better in real life though.
