Bonnet Gas Strut

Post by des_pd_ tdi »

Would anyone mind posting a couple of small pictures that show the bracket for the bonnet gas strut and also the gas strut bonnet fixing point?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, thanks for that but I need some close up shots of the strut fixing points in the bonnet area. That guide is handy but not quite what I was after.

If your thinking of fitting one to your VRS, I don't think it'll work. ToXXin has already tried to do this on his SEAT and the mounting points were all wrong  Send him a PM for more info

I know that's why I want to fabricate my own. I remember from my previous Polo that there was a seperate section on the suspension turret that I could weld onto my VRs, or have someone else weld for me

Hopefully I can be the first to do this
