It has made me think of a trade up but what sort of price does a basic golf start at?

Oh here's the pictures nearly forgot!

Isn't that car a diesel? I've seen it somewhere before.

The mark 5 does look desirable with those mods and so does the gti.

Basic golf starts at £11,995 for the 1.4 75PS 'S' model!

Its pretty good to see what a few well-chosen mods can do to the looks of the car 8) and I'm loving those wheels - and they're factory fitted! :o :D

Smallest engine I'd go forwould probably be the 1.6FSI tho tbh, 1.4 75PS sounds rather slow

I've had a 1.4 90bhp one for a few days. The performance was comparable to my old mk4 1.4

Aren't they Audi RS-6's? So how would they be factory fitted? :?

I've seen those alloys on one of the demonstrators at the local VW garage. Think they might be called "Torino" or something like that? Thought they were optional extras?

Are they replica's or not (this is getting sad) but doesn't the New Golf have the same stud patter as RS-6's?

Well the audi rs6 come standard with 18" wheels. So only guessing is that these 19" wheels are replica and not OE audi ones!

For example VW make the 17" Exor wheels but they dont make it in 18" or 16" they only make one size.
I presume that audi would do the same with the rs6 wheels and only make them in one size that being 18"!

And yeah Audi and VW have the same stud pattern!

You can get a 1.6 fsi for £13,705 which isn't that bad I reckon.

I think I might upgrade to a golf after my polo!
