My new GT

Post by Gra-GT »

Finally got round to taking some pictures of my new GT. I've had it two weeks now. Pretty much standard, except for the upgraded rear speakers me and my mate installed 2 hours after picking it up.

Thought I might as well reply seeing as ive been in it and driven it!

It has got smoked side repeated and you dont get a centre armrest in the front or back (3 seatbelts in back and no split seat)

Also there is no chromed bonnet or boot lifters on it unlike my old Polo and come to think of it I haven't got any on my Bora (VW costsutting F*****S!)

I think he's have a job blowing me at the lights! eh Gra?

I like it, especially as I have ordered the same colour(with colour pack)
as yourself.

I placed my order back in October and was given a build week of
48 but still waiting to get mine.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did you have to wait to get yours.

Thread hijack again!

It was in stock so it was just over a week! If it was a new one it would have been at least the beginning of March.

Thought i'd reply to all these threads even though jrw has beaten me to most of them, who i would beat at the lights. You got the same engine as me but i might be just a bit lighter than your Bora. LOL. I've only had the chance to blow the one person so far, and that was some gimp in a Nova, he had no chance. I wasnt even pushing it that hard as i'm still running it in.

As jrw said it has got smoked side repeaters but no arm rest in the back (doesnt bother me though, i'll be in the front!!!)

It took 2 weeks to get mine, but that was only because i waiting for my loan to come through, otherwise i could of had it in 5 days :D. I was going to have the winter pack, for heated seats and headlight washers, and maybe ESP but it was either have them and wait 12 weeks or have it now, and of course i couldnt wait!!!
Oh yeah, i would definetely go for the colour pack if your having it in silver as it looks LOADS better.
