The 'ol alloy question again...

Post by ciden »

I went down to the dealership this morning and took some photos of the cars around the lot with alloys on that I thought would suit my Polo. Anyways, fooled around on the PC for a bit and came up with the following - u guys lemme know what you think.

My car (for reference  ):

Bora/Jetta 1.6: (15")

Bora/Jetta TDI: (16")

Audi S3: (16 or 17" - didn't look)

I personally think that the last 2, for the cost of swapping them wouldn't really make that much difference to the car.

I like the 1st one. But if you are changing wheels it would be a good idea to get 16's if you already have 15's. You could have 17's but a few people have said they feel rough. It depends how you want the car to feel.

I swapped to 16's and found a big difference, my car feels a lot safer with wider wheels too.

I like the look of these myself...
heres the link because the photo is too big,.

But again, just my opinion! not to take too seriously.

The Audi ones!

Look much bigger and suit the shape of the car. IIRC the S3 wheels are 17s, but i'm sure i've seen this design in 18'' (they might have been replicas though)
