TP or not TP

I was trying out the TP Set on the Radio yesterday.

Now, it seems to have set the TP, but how do I turn TP off? The car manual is useless and says to "exit TP mode", but does not indicate what this is or how to turn off TP.

Can anyone describe the steps or buttons to press please?

I managed to find out that the TIM on the Music system works - it's like listening to Traffic Reports in a tin can, but it does seem to hold a lot of info!

i'm pretty sure you just press FM/AM to turn it back off, I couldn't find anything in the manual either, this is the only way I know of

Bloody 'ell that post on the other forum was a bit of a battle to get through!!!

Whenever i'm using the radio locally i have it set to FM then if i'm travelling away somewhere i press the TP button so that 'TP' is onthe LCD display. Then when i'm drivin' local again i press the FM Button....... I've got the same 6 stations programmed into TP memory locations 1-6 as i have in FM1 memory locations 1-6....... So other than the display showing TP rather than FM i can't tell the differance when using it.

I'm pretty sure i just followed the instructions in my manual so i'm not sure if i've got a differant manual to other people....... there were about 4 or 5 individual books in my manual folder.... all for differant elements of the car etc.....

If your still having problems then give me a shout and i could take some pics of the process with the digi camera and post them..... i.e. showing which button to press to turn it on/off and what the display shows...

I have a Gamma and it gives me trouble sometimes. The manual is a bit useless, and I'm usually the one to work everything out without one.

There are a couple of things that get me. Occasionally the traffic report volume stays up and returns to CD - which nearly cracks my windows. And the other thing is the TP which I can never work out. I used the TIM function to record 2 hours or 24 Hours of traffic reports (while its switched off), but now it doesn't seem to come on?

Also if one drives somewhere strange and wants the local stations, you could press AS (autostore) but that overwrites my favourite stations.

can't it put it in another memory?

Overall, I'm not that impressed with the Gamma, its good spec, but its not that crisp, and it does have a few stupid quirks.
