any suggestions on a full S/S 'zorst system...?

Post by pete69zx »

Just thinking about this idea now...

Im interested to know if there is any manufacturer out there that offers a full S/S system for a mk3 Polio fitted with a GT engine that also has the 'letterbox' style upswept tailpipe?

Cheers.

cheapest place i have found is Rallye Design (www.raldes.co.uk i think, might be .com) at £108 + delivery. the problem with ashley's are they are designed for mark 2's and so aren;t long enoug for a mark 3 and need a section welding on at the end. Dan (hardhitter) said he is in the process of trying to get them cheaper directly from ashley and then get the welding section done aswell so he may be able to offer htem in the future. :)

rally design do seem reasonable as I've said. I will be getting a manifold and modifying it like you have to etc for mine. Once I've done that I will look at getting more and offering them to people converted ready to use.

If you've got the money...

I've just asked for a quote on a full system including manifold and de-cat, so should be interesting...

I don't know to be honest!!

I asked for one anyway - there's nothing on their website to say they don't so hopefully I won't come off looking too stupid.

They're the experts after all!!

I got a longlife system fitted in december, they had a special offer on where they paid the vat for you.

The de-cat made a noticable difference, and it sounds great now, went for the mid-sports sound (apparently)

Sounds great through the tunnels.

Added bonus of working nextdoor to longlife. :D

Anyone else interested around south wales, they will do a group buy or multiple discount if you put your deposits down. I can find out more if you like. They may even do this nationwide.

James.
