I downloaded a fitting guide a while back, its for the vr6 but they should be very similar (same part number)

Its also a 170 mile round trip for me, so that kind of made me stop being lazy and decide to fit it myself!

Just had a look at that fitting guide and its put me off doing it myself. I'm weighing up the pro's and con's though.

Pro's: Don't have to travel to JBS, satisfaction of fitting it myself, saves myself £80.

Cons: More chance of it breaking/not working, better job will be done at JBS.

Wish i had a mechanically minded mate to help me fit it.

It does look like a lot of work at a first glance, but it's actually pretty detailed instructions.

I'm gonna take a photo or two before disassembling just in case!

$160 sounds ace but you have to think about Shipping and Handling plus if something happens to go wrong with it your up s**t creek in getting a refund. Plus that wont come with the modification for the Polo.

BTW $160 = £85 approx

Well anything you buy of the net has that risk.Imagine if you couldn't find it in the UK you would be FORCED to order from the US with the agreed above mentioned risks.

And another thing.By modification you mean the hole drilling that was previously suggested??I agree, but would you seriously pay ~60 pounds extra for a simple hole ????!!!!!

dont forget there's the chance of paying import duties and taxes if you get your parcel stopped....

Didnt know we had to all phone idervidually. I got the impression that once we had the 10 or what ever it was, Josh would call them to sort it out, then we'd phone with card details ect.
