Finally made my mind up, ordered my new car :D

Post by Nelson_Wilbury »

Well, after a year of trouble free motoring in my Polo FSi she'll finally be on her way soon

Heres what will be replacing it...

Image

SEAT Ibiza Cupra PD TDi 160 with Cruise Control, Momo Strut Brace and Chrome Vent Rings and finished in the colour Red 8) Brand spanking new and to be collected on the 25/04/05, four days before I head off to Worthersee :D Got it all in for £14450 :)

Looking forward to the diesel torque and 52mpg

Thanks to Nas at Bedford SEAT for the great price :P

Nice one Neil! Seriously quick motor from what I’ve heard. You’ll be loving those 30-70 sprints!

The next few months will go slowww….. but worth the wait :D

Awww, I want one... but they just don't have enough doors, and the FR (although a nice motor) just can't compete with the Cupra... :(

Sights firmly set on a Golf GTI instead... just got to wait a few years so I can afford one... ;)

Cheers people 8)

Wanted a new Golf GTi but not one person would insure me on one, then the Corrado idea fell flat when I got caught doing 85 in a 60  Insurance lept from £1150 to £1600 , and we're not talking fully comp here...

I'm sure this will keep me busy for a few years though, I need this one to last longer than 11 months

Just out of interest, I just got a quote for the Golf GTI and the Ibiza Cupra R from Direct Line... not bad, but not going to happen for a good while yet methinks (since I've only had my Polo FSi for 11 months too!)

Golf Mk5 GTI: £1150, Fully Comp
Ibiza Cupra R: £1035, Fully Comp

That's with 3 years driving experience, 2 years no claims, no accidents/offences, and £150 excess.

Well, I hope you enjoy the new car, Nelson -- have fun, and drive safe! :)
