I have a couple of announcments to make!

Post by SpikeyG40 »

hello everyone!

firstly, i would like to appologise for my absense over the last week or two! this was due to my computer corrupting, then the restore disk not working, then the internet not working! anyway, it works now and i'm back!!!

my second thing i would like to announce is:

i have had my project boulevard for a couple of years now! 1.0ltr power rules! but i think it is time to move on!

so wot have i done u might ask! i have bought myself a car which will fullfill my needs! something with more power, something, a bit street sleeping! and what fills this perfectly???

how about a 1991 vw polo g40?? i think that fits the bill! and that is wot i have bought!

its an original g40 with no modifications wot so eva! needs a bit of work to get it looking really nice (it looks a bit orange at the moment!)
its covered 66k, interior is imac (apart from missing some screws) and the exterior is pritty clean and unmarked! engine is in standard condition!

this is the way i wanted to buy one! in original condition with the need of some work!

i'll get some pictures up soon (when my computer is finally sorted out)!

this does mean that the uk-polos south eastern meet on sunday might be the last show i will be taking the good old 1.0ltr to! if u don't come u will miss out!

any comments??

regards
Doug

insurance is roughly £1000 full comp!

no bankrupting! the car is in need of some work! removal of an old alarm, service, polish etc. so the price wasn't bad at all!

Very original. Are you leaving the 'Polo-GT' badge on for that sleeper look?

Karl.
