Post by Cadey »

Ok, for the past 13 months my Polo GTi has been back to listers at LEAST once a month, most times for more than one day so i have decided to being a new game, its simple....

Guess whats broker on cadeys car guessing game !!!!!

But as this months the first month of the game and the part would be very hard to guess ill give you a MASSIVE clue, and i mean stupidly easy

Its a pully.... and in controlls VVT !!!!!!!!!
(And they have had it for 5 days so far for this job.....)

Any how when i pick the old banger up this time im getting a FULL list of all the problems the car has had and im going to book an appointment with the sales manager of the garage that sold it me and DEMAND and refund in FULL for the bang-o-crap they sold me !

I think I read somewhere that the Polo GTi has VVT on the inlet manifold...? I'm not very technically-minded  so thats all I know about it.

Bad luck with all the recalls and problems Cadey :( mine went into the garage about 7 or 8 times over the first 12 months of ownership and I thought that was bad!

vvt is variable valve timing which no 16v volkswagen has and only a few types of 20v have, variable inlet tract length is fairly common across the vag group
