Car Park damage

Post by M@Turner »

Well tonight, i finish work at 9.15 and return to my car which is parked in one of the many car parks at work. From about 20 metres away, i notice a mark on the rear bumper, passenger side. As i get closer i notice that along with the dirt, there's a large scrub mark on the bumper and several scratches which have taken all the silver paint work off.

Tomorrow i'm going to give my car a good clean and inspect the damage! What pisses me off is the fact that it was probably some dozey old fool who is not even healthy enough to drive. :x

Cant believe my beautiful VW has been hurt.

I'll try and get some pics up this weekend.

Tomorrow i'm going to go and see if the cctv camera's spotted owt. Apparently there are camera's in the car park so will go and ask security.

Your right, i shouldn't blame old people, but this morning when i was driving to work i had two of them driving worse than any learner driver. I guess it has just been a s**t day for me and my car.

Agreed but blame the old peope - their driving in the main is truely awfull

Mate at work had his mondane written off along with a Jag XKR and a Merc 500 SL all by one driver (aged 70+) in wait for it - a car park!!!!!

Apparently he didn't feel he'd hit any of the cars hard enough so had several goes.......

Sorry to hear about the damage tho - gutting feeling when it happens

I had exactly the same thing with my front bumper a few months ago.. Managed to scuff the rubbing strip, bumper and the splitter - gonna get it sorted as a side job when my car goes in for its insurance re-work..

I wasn't going to bother getting it done, but seeing as the badger i hit a while back managed to make it worse i thinmk i'd better

Sorry to hear that mate, I know how annoying it can be, no matter how careful you may be there is always some inconsiderate driver who doesn't care about you and your much loved motor.

Hope it isn't that badly damaged. I always try and look for a wider parking space or two!

wouldnt count on getting any help from security mate - when it comes down to supermarkets they're there to just earn a wage for standing around and owt else. couldnt get a gnat's fart out of them last time i had any trouble in a carpark .... in fact one guy commented that the things are rarely hooked up to a tape for actual recording. Nice one.
