has anyone got a picture of the Xenon headlights on a Mk5 and the non xenon ones?
is there any difference to the eye
i think mine are, just cos of the brightness and whiteness but wanted to make sure...

yeah thats about the right price...... they are expensive. U can get after markey ones which come i diffrent colout temperatures. U can get 2 diffrent types on bulb, one for projector head lights D2S (polo) and D2R for relflector type headlights.
U can get diffrent brands and diffrent colours. Look on e-bay.....
Philips Ultinon are good
if u were you id buy either the one from VW or get a matcing set o ultinons. you dont want diffrent colour xenons now do u.

Correct! You must have a headlight washer system to pass the MOT, and the ballasts are needed to enable the lights to self-level themselves IIRC, so you don't blind other road userspettsy wrote:Just a thought on the idea of retrofitting xenon lights...
Aren't you supposed to have headlight washers and some form of height adjustment to make them legal (and pass an mot)?
