GC you should be ashamed for having such a crap car, just looked on the site you pasted and theres a big blob covering your number plate :P

Seriously though...you have obviously spent a very long time indeed under the bonnet..its puts mine to shame.
What was used to clean it all?

P.s You should be proud of your car its a fine looking thing for its age, How many other 19 year old cars look that good...round here the 19 year old women don't look that good

Cheers guys :) I'm not really into obvious modification like exhausts, spoilers, eyebrows and all that, I just spend most of my time doing little subtle bits, oem mods etc, and my main goal's always been just to restore it to how it should have been originally.. so yeah, I'm happy with it, whatever some people may think to it..

The engine is unfortunately no longer that clean, those photos were taken before winter :( Basically when I took the engine out I had a serious go at cleaning it - gunk/petrol (petrol does just as good a job at a nothingth of the price..) + hard bristled brush to get the sludge off, then I went over the paintwork with white spirit (wash it off before it starts bubbling through the paintwork though..), and the really bad bits I sanded and sprayed over. Removing the engine first does help though ;) Also, if you try to make a point of washing under the bonnet every time you wash the rest of the car, the grease won't build up so bad and you won't need to hit it so hard the next time you do it.

Now, metz, I think we've got to find you some decent looking women..
