arch rolling is a must, 60mm culd just be springs, a few members are running springs only, but if u have the money, coilovers will be better for ride comfort.

Hi,

If your fitting 17s you must make sure that they are 195/40 17!

If you have 205/40/17 this where you start to have troubles  ... i know as im currently there at this moment in time - trying out a few ideas to see if i can get around it. :?

Awesume GTI Store currently do a set of FK AK Coilovers for £299.99 have a drop of 40-70mm and only cost £8 to be delivered - should have myself a set around june

I've got 17's on my gti, which is lowered about 30mm although i think now it's nearer 40mm and they are tight, if i were to go any lower i wouldn't have any tyre left as the back rubs slightly when there are people in the back!!

I don't know what the difference if any there is between the gti and non gti mkv's.
