Hey everyone. I've just joined these forums - I've got a MK4 Dragon Green 1.3 CL which is my first car.

I'm 17 and I'm not that clued up on cars (always been more of a bike person) so no doubt I will be pestering you all for advice at some point! :D

Cheers!

darkfusion.

Yep, my practical test is actually booked up for just under 4 weeks time. *craps pants*

Gorgeous wheels you got on your car by the way - what are they?

Hi, welcome etc etc :) You're not alone being young and the polo being your first car, I'm 18 and my mk2 is my first car and there are plenty more :)
Good luck with your test - only advice I can give is to relax, just remind yourself that it's not the end of the world if you don't pass first time and you'll be fine.. I failed my first test (due to an over-pedantic examiner and a last minute change of local 'rules'... ), but passed with no problems at all second time round because I was so much more relaxed about it - and it only took me two weeks to get a retest as well, so it's not something to get anxious about :)

Well it's totally standard at the moment, but I've just ordered some clear indicators and side repeaters so as soon as they're fitted I'll post a pic.

How much did the Momo's set you back?

Cheers for the advice. I passed my theory test a couple of days ago, thought I had blown it but it turned out I got 34/35 and 51/75 so maybe if I go into my practical thinking I'll fail then I'll pass, hahaha.

Nah seriously, I'm crapping myself a bit but if I go in with the right attitude I reckon I'll be fine.
