Removing Glovebox lid?

Post by Petrified »

How do you do this?
It looks easy enough there are 2 pins either side holding it in yeah, do they just pop out? or do you need to turn them or something??

If they do just pop out how much force do you have to use, I don't want to break it :?

Thanks
James.

Whatever you do don't just yank it really hard cause it just snaps off and you end up smashing your head of the bootlid (I had no interior in the car...) and end up landing on all your tools.

The pins pop out, but tend to break in the process. I should imagine they're only pennies from a VW dealer though.
