my dipped beams on both lights have stopped working, but sidelights and main beam works fine. I've checke the fuses and they are all fine and dandy.
any suggestions?
I'm also going to be selling my Polo soon, probably for about £250. Any takers?

I would imagine a faulty switch is to blame. It'll be in the indicator stalk if so!!
indicator stalk?
But the switch is on the dash....
Yeah - but the indicator stalk is what you use to change between main and dipped - and you say main is fine - so I'm guessing that's where the problem is.

Don't know what mk3 light switches are like, but the switch in my mk2 actually melted a while ago, seemingly at random, and the guy at the VW dealership said it wasn't uncommon. Pretty dodgy stuff, I'd take a look at it..
well.. it's sorted, it was indeed both of the bulbs blowing at the same time.
Bloody wierd.
anyhue, got a pair of them 50% more brighter ones for £12, which is ney bad.
