ah dude. thats harsh.
its in weather like this im glad my cars off the road already cuz if it werent, im sure who ever controls us would out me in the same position. especially since my bad lucks coming once everyweek at the mo.

really am sorry to see that happen though dude. at least your alright. if your like me your probably not bothered about yourself, only the car. but itll go.
fukin listen to me! sound like trisha or something, lol.
unfortunalty also suffered a crash from the hands of the weather man, so no what iits like wrecking your car and there being nothing you could do about it at the time. have you had the "surley you must have been going faster to do that.." line from any one yet? that was always the worst 'un.
hope you can sort the car out as apart from that the car appears quite mint.

im gonna be reet cheeky here so with out sounding rude and un-sympathetic. if the engines going begging pm me and ill check my funds :D .

chin up though dude

those pictures make me sad, though the first one where it's nose down is a bit amusing. (not so much as the corsa i once saw like that on a straight bit of road however)

i should think you served as a bloody good warning to anyone coming the other way!

the shots from the front look like it's crying :(

if you wanna save the engine and any transplantable ancillary bits (eg suspension), you could have my 1L hatch for a quite small sum - i'll know it'll be looked after at least and finally have the sort of power it's always dreamed of. :D (good condition, just needs passenger door sorting out and various small scratches touch-up'ed and T-cutted / tiny dings pulled)

looks like you did a good job with upgrading and servicing it so you can't scrap it - the wild dogs on here would rip you to shreds!

PS speeds kills, you reckless... um... 30mph... hooligan?

Jamie,

I'm really sorry to hear that. You know how much I love G40s and I'm gutted to see this one end up this way.

Good news is that you're alive, and most of the stuff on the car is salvageable.

If it was me, I'd be on the lookout for a late MK3 or an early MK4 1.3 and stick the engine into it. Keep an eye on eBay as MK3s go for next to nothing on there!

All the best mate, let me know what happens!

hey

firstly, glad your able to walk away from it.

secondaly, its such a shame to see another g40 bite the dust. its not what i want to see just as i have bought one which is nearly identical to urs! makes u think that thats the last place i want to see mine when its back on the road. still, makes all the rest that little bit rarer!

my condolenses!
regards

Glad to hear you're ok mate! I did similar damage to mine a few weeks ago, so I know how it feels.

Keep us posted on how you get on.

Karl.
