had my mk4 polo for over a year doing very few mods. started getting serious now with body kits and all that. i wanna put the sideskirts on myself but need some info and help.cheers

hello welcome to the forum..! :)

putting a bodykit on yourself is actually fairly straight forward.
it would help if u have a garage.
sideskirts are mostly stuck on with a bit of bonding glue, and sometimes screws.

as for help, i dont know what u wuld like to know..

If its as easily stuck on with bonding glue and maybe screws is there a way to secure it even better? Because I know someone who had his whole body kit (which was pretty nice) stolen! :-|

i think the Golf mk4 (factory skirts) are stuck on only :shock: with no screws used
with bonding glue, the bodypart is pretty solid if the kit was put on properly.

well they must of took the wheels as well then!... screws are usually put on the inner arch area (hope u know where i mean) and some ppl put them right under the entire length, which prob means access without taking wheels off.
with good bonding glue, stuck on bodyparts shouldnt be a prob :wink:
