My names is sadie
i currently own a Puegeot 306 GTi-6.... :twisted:
unfortunatly i have to sell it
i dont want to but its to THURSTY for my bank balnce... :(
Im looking into the VW GTi 1.6
and was wondering if anyone could help me
Roughly how many miles you get to a full tank...????
And would you say this would be the best choice for
a sporty looking but economical car..???

Now that would be fun...just think, when April Fools comes along...ha ha ha! I'll have hacked this site, just don' tell Josh!

Welcome, Sadie, apologies for the above, I've seen one of our fellow members has posted a response.

I've seen at the most 320 miles on a full tank, but that is when it reaches the red line and the light comes on. Recently I've only managed around 280 miles but I have been a bit heavyfooted too. The average cost to fill has been around £38 on Optimax.

Hope this helps, if need some tips on buying a GTI there are several threads below which may prove helpful when looking around.

I have to say I've really enjoyed having my car, it's got some poke to it that can surprise some people, its well equipped with all the mod cons (sounds like I'm talking about a house not a car!) and can still turn heads when driving it. Other than some niggley faults it is a great car to drive and own. Good luck!
