Been away for a while. News on my Polos

Post by wul3er »

I know you's have all missed me, but dont worry i'm back now.

I no longer have the GT :( It was a very sad day to see it go.

Me and my GF were in a head on smash which sent the GT to the carpark in the Sky. Luckly we werent to badly injured and it wasnt my fault.
Although i am getting screwed for it, cos my bank cancelled my DD's which ended my insurance so i got charged with no insurance and im getting nothing for the GT. So i'm a bit gutted about it all.

My Gf's mk5 is still lying with a broke gearbox, we had to get another car for her to get to work and back so i got a Pug 205, which is that bad we are now gonna get her car fixed.

Its a shame we werent in her Mk5 cos that would have survived and we could have got stuff done to it, trhough the insurance, lol

If anyone knows how to host a 3gp video i'll put up the small video i have of it.

Ach, that sucks... were you actually told that your bank was cancelling payments to your insurers? Bit crap to be charged for not having insurance on top of totalling the car :?

My i advise a jacket and a door?

Glad your alright though wul3er, what is it with Mk3's croaking it? I swear there are "seasons" for certain cars croaking it in this fashion. About this time last year (maybe earlier) a lot of Lupo's were having bumps.... strange.

Fingers crossed mk2's won't have a phase of biting the dust until I'm at uni and it's safely garaged up at home

No bank hadnt instructed me, It was another Veedub that got me (passat)

and the damage was very little to that. The police recon she was doing around 35-40 MPh in a 30 zone when it was icy and snowing. I was doing about 25. A car started sliding in front of the woman (passat driver) so instead of running into the back of a moving car she swerved onto my side of the road, not much i could do. But at least we are ok.

Does anyone know if me or my GF can claim her insurance for injuries even although i wasnt insured.

what's to stop you taking a private claim against the driver of the Passat for injuries and the damage to your car? surely she's at fault after all she hit you!
