HELP!!! mileometer has gone back to 0!!!
What can I do to put it back to the right mileage!! My polo showed 77593 miles and now has gone back to 0!! ( I changed the clocks as the other one was knackered) Any ideas??????
You replaced the clocks with a new set? In that case I'm not surprised it's gone back to 0.
There are specialists that can reset the counter to anything you'd like. Some of these people are legit, most are clockers, or whatever you want to call 'em.
It wouldn't hurt asking at the dealership, I'm pretty sure they can change it for you again. In any case, the clocks need to come out again.

I'm getting the car serviced tomorrow at an independent garagist. Worth asking him to do it?Speedlaw wrote:You replaced the clocks with a new set? In that case I'm not surprised it's gone back to 0.

a mate of mine can reset the digital mileometers.. he will not clock it to show less mileage though.

He's based in Lancashire - but is usually ok about travelling to a job..
Sheffield isn't that far.
if the clocks are out of the car he reckons it'd be £80
