No worries. Memory sticks are pretty cheap now tbh:

http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/spec ... NOV-MS2256

^^ Novatech 256MB memory stick, £18.80 inc. VAT. Standard delivery costs £2.55 on top of that. They also do a 128MB version for £11.75 inc. VAT, cheap as chips!

nice!
going back to gt4, i've found a way of further lowering the cars, so they are stupidly low, lol when you turn the corner in my polo the tyres can be seen through the arches!
just lower the spring rate as well as ride height 8)

I'm only 15% complete, and thoroughly gutted I missed out on an LC now! Rare as anything in the used car section! Still bought a 205 T16 to comiserate and an Impreza 22B which have some degree of rarity to them.

The 22B is simply superb, its like deep-fried s*** off of a teflon shovel when fully tuned...

You guys know how once tuned, the car's exhaust spits flames on downchanges? Here's one I caught earlier:

Pure chance that I managed to pause it at the right time, I was simply after some drift-stylee shots, hanging the handbrake on whilst coming round the last corner of the Tsukuba circuit in the wet, hence locked up rear wheels and surface reflections from standing water 8)

GT4 is great!

Does anyone know if it's possible to transfer your licences and cash over from GT3?

I'm stuck driving an RX7 (from the 1980s) and a B licence until I get a day to work thru the tests.

Yes chap when you first turn on the game, with a blank memory card or one with no GT4 data on it, it goes through a procedure where you can transfer licenses and 100,000Cr from GT3 or GT4 Prologue

You can also access this stuff via the garage, there is a 'transfer' option. I've not used it because I never had GT3, but it does definitely work!

Ben - 67 cars? :o i have 14 and thats enough for now!

ok im a car owner whore :P
lol most of them aren't tuned up much, i just buy the specials ones that come available in the used car section.

just to add, you can't transfer GT3 licences to GT4, this only applies to GT prologue, because GT prologue were the same licences as GT4.

Just worked it out. In GT mode goto "Home" then "status". Press the start button and it will transfer any GT Prologue Licences you have and 100,000 credits from GT3 or Prologue.

I went straight out and bought the 2001 Polo GTI and modded it, it now runs at 250+bhp (if only i had it for real).

I have something new 8)

On days 694-701 four very rare cars become available in the used car market. They are:
  • Mazda 787B - Cr 1,224,999
    Nissan R390 - Cr 2,250,000
    Nissan R92CP - Cr 1,224,999
    Toyota GT-One - Cr 2,924,999
All of these vehicles are matt black Lemans racers. They are only available between days 694-701, and if you don't have the cash to buy them they will not appear in the used car lots for another 694 days!! See below:

Shiny

I have just bought the Nissan R92CP and the Toyota GT-One race cars - haven't tested them out around the 'ring yet because I'm writing this post, ha ha! I think I'm gonna buy the Mazda too while I have the chance... I saved up over 7,000,000 credits to do this!

So you're wondering, how do I get the cash for this? Well, here's the plan  first of all you need a DTM touring car with which to enter the "Deutsche Touring Car Meistershaft" championship, located in European Events. I use the Audi TT-R, with a big turbo bolted onto it, all-in total cost roughly 650,000 credits. All you do is enter the championship, put it on B-spec manager, tell him to push hard/overtake, ramp the speed up to 3x and sit back whilst he goes and wins the races

You get 15,000 credits per race win, 75,000 for the cup and a Mercedes AMG CLK DTM worth nearly 750,000 credits which you can then sell :D

I now have three rather menacing black race cars in my GT4 garage. What are you waiting for?

cheers for the help si 8)
might just try that this week seeing as im off work now yay!
to gain cash before, i was entering the Cost Di Amalfi race in special conditions, 2 races 2 laps and a 264,000 car to sell at the end, but your latest finding trounces that
top stuff :D

That's my proud effort. Everythings gone in to it. It now kicks out a whopping 144bhp and has a top speed so far of 98mph!

Talk about kick ass

couldn't resist repeatedly seeing it in the used car section
