i was going to suggest lowering it, but im sure that would bring a whole host of problems with 18's yes?, nice car though 8)

Now that looks a helluva lot better!

Why didn't VW make them look like this as standard?

Get it lowered a bit mate... Just 35mm would change the look completely.

(Arch rolling isn't that scary nowadays).

I've got some 2nd hand 30mm Eibach springs if your interested

Looks good, think that's made my decision about putting the kit that's sitting in the garage on the GT in the next few months. :)

bout £700 bought and painted.... and fitting £0 ... cus if fitted it myself :P
there were gaps in the front and back and sides (due to Votex  ) but after 16 hours  of fitting and tidying up (over a few weekends) its pretty much perfect IMO, and i think its better than paying some one £140 and do it in 3 hours and mess it up...

Why do I keep on looking at your car and thinking "X5"?

You have to make it look like that pic now.

Think Toxxin may also mean that with the ride height as well as the type of wheels. I've seen them mostly on X5's a couple of range rovers and a porsche skip.

Could always roll the arches out and slap some coilovers on. RSCs were my top choice till i found out how much they slow my already sluggish car down. If you spared £1000 on alloys you have to spend a bit on lowering the car onto the alloys. At the moment it looks nice but with a drop it wil look slick 8)
