U could wire up a solenoid with a button on the dash, there are plenty of blank spaces in the polo. My mate has one of these on his G40. He's got a nice subtle push button. Works really well.

Yeah I agree with Del, you could wire a solenoid up to one of the five switches under the A/C or Climate controls, where there are 4 blanks! The far left and right switches at each end are for heated seats if you have them, there is one for the heated rear screen, the other two AFAIK are blank and could be wired up for this purpose - thats what I'd do anyway

Alternatively, you could get a 3-button flip key from a Golf or Bora and have your key cut into it and programmed, then have the third button on the flip key programmed to pop the boot - this would be more expensive but would be pretty schweet 8) 8)

or from a Polo.... can the boot pop up automatically? :o mine only unlocks the bootlock with the middle button.

blanks have to be removed, and switches can be obtained from scrappys (cheapest) or ebay.
then a home made DIY wiring route will be needed, or go for universal kits that corsas etc have ... seen 1 on a corsa, remote controled look 8)
