front fogs

right i have bought some front fogs and grills from ebay and im abit annoyed as i only got the fogs and grills...no wires!

what do i need to get them in and working?

i dont even have the screws to fix the fogs to the car.... :?

im not so clued up on this, so i basicaly need a shopping list! in decent detail. can someone help please?

dont rub it in! lol! i dont have the parts to fit them yet....


that doesnt give much info on what parts i need etc.

ie. size screws, amounts of wire, types of connectors etc

as i said im not too clued up on this. is there a kit i can get from vw that will have all the required parts??

Things you are missing are.

6x screws
6x plugs for the screws to plug in to
You may need the plugs that plug in to the fog lights and some vw wire to click in to place (if this isn't included in the kit)
1x headlight switch with front fog option (to give it the oem look)
a whole bunch of wire, a fuse and about 6 hours of your time!

Mole's guide will see you through!

I fitted the kit to my 1.2.

im gonna price it up from vw...then recover from shock and then probly try euro car parts or even maplins or sumwhere like that

anybody know the part number of the connectors that go from the wire into the fog unit?

cheers! (vw are usless :lol: )
