brake dilema

Post by ZOMBIE »

Hi guys, Ive been wondering is there a set of brakes [calipers+ discs] that you can fit off another vw-dirrectly without modifications to the mk2 coupe s that are better than standard because I heard scirroco brakes are good and can be used.
The brakes in our cars are crap and I dont want to go through the hassle of fitting a servo, what are my options? :D

Mk1/2 golf gti / mk2 scirrocco brakes fit. You'll need to get the calipers marked 'VWII' and the carriers to match, that'll allow you to fit vented discs which will help with the brake fade at high speeds.

the VW II calipers will work on the standard mk2 carriers as long as they're not the early ones that have squareish brake pads.
