Hi, has anyone had problems with tracking or more so getting the tracking realigned on car. I have 16 inch wheels on mine and having problem finding somewhere to check tracking properly because of low profile tyres?
Hmmm...thats odd, I've had mine done a a couple of places and none have said anything about low profile tires...I'm running 16" on 195/40 rubber...if it was lowered then depending on how low you are then that may prove a problem with the tracking as they need enough room between the arch and the tyre to be able to slip on the tracking equipment...the places I went to were local smaller firms...
Ring round a few places...like I say can't imagine them being a problem.

where bouts in Scotland r u? Drivers, in Glasgow are v good, they do wheels up to 24" and as for low profile, they did my 215/35
yeah, when you lower your car you get more toe-in, because the track rods run down hill. But lowering also buggers up some of the other angles, which are not adjustable. Its no worse than driving with fat people on board though....

depends how low u go, -100mm can cause other problems.

Was at drivers last week so going to take it there for laser alignment, thanks carmadaroon, they quoted me £35, got some prices for exhaust and bits and bobs.
