British Summer Time

Post by Si_GTi »

I've spent an hour or so going round resetting all the damn clocks and timers and cookers and wotnot this morning, thanks to the whole GMT/BST thing...

Thought I'd remind everyone that the board will still be showing times as GMT unless you go to your profile and change the 'Timezone' to GMT +1 Hour

Cheers

going forward 1 hour is better than going back, ie in the car, just hit the hour button once :) ... rather than 23 times on a 24hr clock

Analogue clock on the GTi - you have two buttons for adjustment, one winds forward, one back - easy peasy

Wish my microwave were that simple...

hate the bloody thing!!!!

worked at the bar last night..... some genius decided it would be a good night to do the necessarily twice-as-long (double/triple checking) end-of-financial-year stock take, rather than say, tuesday or wednesday when the place is dead and the bar tends to shut about midnight..... not 2am (or in this case, of course - 3am!!)

we got out about 6.40 ...... leathered it all the way back and got in about 6.45 (6 miles - dont try this at home, kids!!) .... and then had to go round changing all the bloody clocks, too. total suckamajig.

thankfully my brother, the legend that he is, had set up the PS2 before he left (odd, he's normally not considerate like that) with the "right" disc in, so i decided that i may as well change that clock as well....... and have a GT4 blast whilst at it :D

if you're gonna be sleep deprived, may as well do it in style. ho hum. at least we can all travel home in sunshine now!

Hmm, cheers for reminding me.. the computer usually tells me, but today it decided to change its clock without asking. So.. it's suddenly an hour later than it was :?

I didn't mind the clocks going forward at all!

I'm working nightshift so I had 1 hour less at work, whilst everyone else had one hour less sleep! haha
