passed! (and Polo for sale! :-()

Post by minis84 »

Hello!

My squareback passed its MOT this morning after I replaced the rear brake hoses on sunday. I'm well pleased now, I've given it a good wash, and generally tidied it up inside and out, and under the bonnet, so its all ready to sell.

I'm going to miss the old girl, I must admit. She's been a great little car, never let me down, and I would keep her if I could, but I haven't the room, and my Mini withdrawal symptoms are becoming hard to bear. So I've found a nice Quicksilver 1275cc Mini Cooper, and the Polo has got to go.

Its got 364 days test, 6 months tax, new water pump, timing belt and rear brake hoses, immaculate interior, good exterior, cracking engine, and is replesendent in metallic blue, with a nice blue interior. Its a 1043CL by the way.

Anyone interested at all?

Thanks

Tom

Try the classifieds on here and on Porka, mate. You'll get a better response.

Sold it!!

Got £450 for it, which I'm well chuffed with. Considering I paid less for that when I bought it, and had 6 months of warm comfortable trouble free motoring out if it i'm well happy.

Going to miss the old girl though, was sad watching her drive away for the last time. Its gone to someone I know though, so might see it around occasionally!

that could be a mistake mate - not to be an omen of doom but mum did that with her very, very much loved cherry red panda.... only to be greeted, a week later, on the way to work in her new car, by the sight of it wrapped round a lamp-post.

if it's gotta die, better for it to die somewhere out of sight, as it doesnt cause as much grief that way (beleive me it did!)

sweet clubman btw ;)

ahah, i am fortunate, its going to someone I know who luckily lives on the other side of Nottingham, so I should avoid seeing it anywhere :D

You should see it now, not looking quite so sweet, bare shell on axle stands in the garage, ready for a rebuild into a trackday/drag monster!!
