I like it! I would seriously consider one after my current Polo... but that will be in a couple of year's time, and my circumstances could change I guess... but if I don't have a need for a larger car, it would definitely be in the frame :)

Supposedly the GTi will be unveiled later in the year (probably in the last quarter?) and I really want to see how that turns out 8)

Deek - in your second post, I'm guessing that would be an SE-spec trim/equipment level? Or is it more likely to be GT-spec? Looks good either way :)

Pft, it got "too soft" with the 6N :D heheh

Do like the look of that though, it's futuristically cool in a sort of Golf New GTi way. A little bug-eyed (aint no granada though), the rear lights a bit startling, but on the whole not at all bad dear chap.

The only two things I don't like in this car are the rear lights and the rear window. The 9N rear window is more straight that the 9N2

I had wondered whether it shined vw when the lights were on.

They're currently featured in the new golf, believe they only started appearing around the time of the GTI coming out.

youll need quite a few new bodypanels for that conversion :P
on the other hand, the rear lights seem a perfect fit!
