Anybody else think this car is unlucky?

Post by bstardchild »

Refering to previous posts

It's been walked over
Broken into and had the dash mullered in an successfull bid to liberate the tunes
Bumped whilst on loan

Tonight head on with a BM318i being driven by a pissed up Polish person who tried to negotiate a bend in a 30 mph zone at 45 (ish) and locked the wheels trying to correct an already lost cause - I stopped him mounting the kerb with the polo......

Pics (not good quality from and old digital camera I keep in the glovebox)

sorry to hear about this Bstardchild ,I don't think the cars unlucky it's just a case of wrong place at the wrong time (what was it about luck coming in three's). Let's hope he's insured (I'm not going to say what else I'm thinking)

Yeah fine apart from a bit of back ache and a bruise on the shoulder - I think the car migt be fitted with seatbelt pre-tesioners but the Airbag didn't go off!!!

I make it 4 now......

It's a nasty bend and I always take it slow cos its a 30 limit, blind bend and my mate lives 50 yrds on from the corner so I have to turn just after it

They exchanged details (well as best as we could) and were very keen to go before the blue lights appeared - a pool match apparently - I did suggest that they might have had enough for the night but it was lost on them

How long do you think the car will run for with a belt driven fan grinding/knawing away at the rad - certainly sounded very s**t as it drove off......

I'm hoping not long

Thats really sad news bstardchild :( but glad to hear you're OK. Think you're right about the car being unlucky... but isn't it usually green cars that are that unlucky?

Its bad enough being involved in an accident of any kind - even worse when the other party has had a few brewskis! :x

Hope the car is can be repaired OK - was it driveable after the incident? Looks like a fair old whack to the front of the car there :?

Well just had a phone call - they've tracked the driver down arrested him and he has provided a positive breath test - so as I thought he was a little over the limit

I don't understand what makes people think they can drive when they've been drinking! Its just common sense not to! Hope he gets his license revoked

Doesn't drinking make you think you can drive - reality is however somewhat different

Deportation would be nice
