Hey there

Post by cappuccinocruiser »

Hi, thought I'd say hello, my mate skip, who's username I have no idea of pointed me this way.

I've just been given a 1988 MK2 polo coupe S with some tax but no MOT, all it needs is a bit of pipe from the washer pump to the T piece, and the exhaust sealing, so I think I've done ok. I know little about them, as I'm from the air cooled part of the scene, so any issue's I'd be keen to learn about.

Pretty good fun car it seems though, this one is a a purple colour, 68k from new (genuine) and now sports 14" early golf 16v wheels.

so far I like it.

just thought I'd let you know, failed MOT on a split gaitor on the outter CV joint, luckily I know dubs split these a lot so I've always got one handy.

Job for 2morrow then.
