Euro NCAP Results

Post by Josh_PoloGTi »

Hi All

After watching Top Gear on Sunday night, I thought I'd better find out how "safe" our cars are, so here are links to the Euro NCAP results:

: 6N Polo - 3 Stars

: 6N2 Polo - 4 Stars

: 9N Polo - 4 Stars

The only thing I'd like to point out is that the 6N figures are for a 1996 car. The '96 Model only had 1 Drivers Airbag, so maybe a 1999 6N would fair better in the tests as it had 1 Drivers and 1 Passengers.

Anyway, it's good to know (after seeing the mess that a 2 Star car made of itself in a 30mph crash).

It looks like the peddal box let the car down (6n) that must have been changed a bit for the 6N2.

Thanks for the link, quite interesting. It's good to see that the structure of the Mk4 isn't destroyed too much.

*Slight sigh of relief*

& any road, were a whole lot safer than s**t saxo drivers. a leaf falling off a tree puts a dent in the bodywork of a saxo.
