Yes, the GTI came with 'Sports Suspension' as standard which meant harder springs and a slight lowering, about 10mm compared to other Polos in the range. Also it was equiped with gas filled shocks, again none of the other Polos had.

It's all part and parcel of having a sporty drive! If it wasn't so hard you'd be seasickall the time when throwing the car around due to the roll, you could always upgrade to fully adjustable coilies which would mean you could tailor your ride...be expecting to pay some serious cash though! (I've just seen your sig, you already have coilies! ignore the above! doh! why do I keep going and stating the obvious?). How do you feel about the drive now that you have the KW kit? Any good?

Anyway, it must be expensive for you to own that car in HK, let alone modify it, where do you take it to have work done for you? I'm interested, if I ever was in HK....

When I bought this Polo GTi, it come with this KW coilover Kit already.
So, I don't have change to try the original suspension ar!
Actually, I like this low down look now, and the handling is very good.
If drive in some good condition motorway, it's comfort enough, but
if drive in some rough road, the concussion make me die
(I have already adjust the bound level to most soft)

Own this Polo GTi is not easy in HK, because there are only 70-80
Polo GTi, so the parts is not easy to find, and also expensive.
The repair cost is much higher than other VW car

Ah but you have a rare car and I'm sure it must turn heads when you go out cruising in it! (do you go on Nathan Road? I hear thats a popular drag strip!).

Nathan Road.............always traffic jam
Never drive a M/T car to there, otherwise your left leg will get
pain!

What do you think if I change back to original suspension??
As you said, the original one is already 'Sports Suspension' , I am
afraid it won't be improved in comfort ............

If only consider the comfort :
Original Suspension > KW2 adjusted to most soft level???
