looks a bit like a people carrier that sat on a landmine

but i bet it's a whole lot better from a direct side-on view. it's got hints of pimposity

one of those vs a lupo, which wins?

Looks like a Yaris had a rather unfortunate accident with a hippopotomus's bottom.

Although as Tahrey said, perhaps a different angle might be a good thing ;)

Hmmm... Where did you get these specs? The Pepper Fox was shown in the São Paulo auto show a couple of years ago (along with the Crossfox which is now in production!). As you can see from the front bumper, lack of side repeater lights, and lack of a boot handle, it is a Brazilian market car.

It was equipped with VWB's standard 101-103 bhp 1.6L engine. Wheel specs are a match, and pretty much all the kit you see there is available from third-party suppliers in Brazil (including the black/white leather inserts for the interior).

Lowering the Fox ain't a problem either.

I posted some more photos of the Pepper (including interior pics) when the Fox was launched in 2003. Search the forums and you'll find them.

No mention of FSI or diesels from VW back then tho, and it seems only the Crossfox got the go-ahead.
