9N headlamp protectors?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what these headlamp protectors look like, and maybe post a pic here?

I'm interested in the proctection but I don't really know what those are, Martyn says they're only sold through VW UK dealers.

there usually a hard plastic "shell" that covers the lamp but light can still shine through

Sounds good enough to me.

The headlamp units on the Polo heat up a lot when in use so maybe they get even more vulnerable to stone chips and marks and scratches.

Does anyone have a pic?

Possibly. Still, I've scraped my plans to get alloy wheels at the moment and am concentrating instead on saving up for a HID kit!

Does anyone know the price for these headlamp protectors?

Seems they're only available from UK VW dealers, I've inquired about them around town and in Germany without any results.

I can get you the UK price.

Just phoned my dealer (Ridgeway, Reading, Berkshire). Headlamp protectors are Â£34.04 +vat (Â£40 for those without a calculator to hand). The guy said he could get me them for Wednesday this week.
