Hello people! Thought I would join as this seems a good forum. I currently have a Focus ST170 but have ordered my new Polo today. 1.9 3 door TDI in black with a few extra toys. :wink:

I have been reading some posts and have a couple of questions...

What is 9n??

And do all the sport models come with map reading lights and a rear light?
I will get footwell lights and the door lights working ASAP as interior lighting is a must for me! Will post some pics of my previous one off light mods.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

9N is type code for the new Polo. Previous generation Polos were 6N and 6N2 (facelifted model), and the New Polo from 2002 model year on is 9N.

Hi! welcome to the group!

9n is the type code for the new Polo.

Yes, my 5 door Sport has map reading lights in the front and a unit containing two lights in the back.
