yes mate i'm at inters going on friday afternoon to the hotel and wll be on the SEATenthusiasts.co.uk stand...

the seats are the first part of the plan to strip the back out and cage it and go a bit rally style... no use for the back seats so plan to lose them soon!

Looking good. Where do you connect the harnesses too. Too the original seat belt mounts or do you have to drill them in.

I think that the rear lights wouldn't suit a black Polo but on your silver car, the LED strip complements the silver paint really well, top choice! 8)

cheers guys,

the harnesses are three point ones so got one where the rears used to bolt into, one on the front belt rail and the third on the subframe mounting.

all in took about half hour per side....

How much did the seats set you back? I was thinking of doing the same but getting them retrimmed in leather along with the back bench, no f*****g idea how much this would cost tho!

There is a scrappy next to me called Vee Dubs, might just try and get a leather interior from there. Wonder if a MK4 golf one would go in??

I was thinking of getting the harnesses and fit them with the standard gti seats.I don't know if this would be possible. Are the harnesses bolt in or snap catch.? Have you took your rear seatbelts out. ? :)

i got the seats at a good price but think they're about £300 the pair on the net...

it prob. would work with the standard seats but when you put them on and off it might get a bit troublesome as they will slip off the sides of the seats etc.

I removed the rear belt holders but i'm sure they could be fitted with them still in if required.... jus one bolt at each mounting point to fit

I see what you mean with the belt slipping off. I like the Gti seats cause there comfy and are kinda racing seats so just want to fit the harnesses.
