* for those wondering, the mk5 1.0 eats mk2 1.0's for breakfast when the speed picks up. Great fun revving away with my peashooter exhaust with Classic FM on full volume down the sprint track though
FPMSROFLMAO..... (and the rest)
someone REALLY better have a video of that :D

sounds like an awesome weekend!

Ah, good to know  I thought the crowd could do with some entertainment, nothing like a rattly old 45bhp hatchback attempting a drag race for a bit of a giggle ;)
Btw, do they record your time on that sprint? Would have loved to know how long it took

Just got back from Inters, very disappointed, poor weather didn't really help and felt like it was more of a traders show than actually a show for Dubs.

I think the highlight of the weekend was seeing Polopowah and GroovyCarrot thrash it out on the sprint, man, I so wish I had my camera...it was a classic!

After a seeing a few runs of Golf Rallyes, Audi TTs, VR6ys and even a couple of Polos G40s I spot two familiar looking Polos lining up and all I could think is bloody hell this is going to be a laugh and damn where is my camera when I need it? So funny watching all the heads in the crowd move so slowly following the Polos along the sprint after previously watching the neck breaking Dubweiser Golf! Then all heads turned to the timing board...awaiting for the 0-60 time...6...7...8...9...10 slowly turns to 17...18...19...and then the words 'Time Out' appear to a glorious cheer from the crowd! Thanks Polopowah and GroovyCarrot for cheering me up this weekend! Top entertainment!

Dubpolo, those black centres really suit your car...look forward to when you get yours back from Bstardchild. I've still got your Back to Black...guess there is no point returning it to you as there is hardly any left!

M@Turner, I still have your GSF parts privilege card, I'll return it to you next time I see you, which hopefully shouldn't be too long, if you need it sooner drop me a line and I'll post it to you. Hope you get those coilikes sorted too.

Anyway, I'm going now to take ome anti-depressants

According to my speedo, I was just over 55mph when I crossed the line, I imagine polopowah would have been scraping 60.

Hi Dan

Cheers for the photos...

Tabs has taken the CD, and he's sorting them all out, so I assume he's going to put them all up on a gallery which I can link to here.

Thanks again...
