How much??

Post by CBurns »

Right! The time has come for the polo to move on i'm afraid but before i start advertising it i was wondering what a reasonable price to ask is?

W 2000 Silver 3 door Polo Gti
49K full service history
Has had pedal box replaced and also new clutch
lowered 30 mm and on 17 inch RS4 style alloys

I'm not going to be greedy but i'm not about to give her away so only sensible suggestions please, i have a figure in my head but want to see if i'm close to what everyone else thinks.

cheers

Just had a look on 'parkers' for you

They say for a private seller, vehicle in Good condition you could be looking at around £ 5125

Hope that helps in some way n how

My mate traded his Clio 1.2 Dynamique into the garage recently, got £4000 for it. Considering he payed £11 for it 2 years ago id say polo's aint doing too bad!

Also, my dads Audi A4 fetched £13,800 trade in, he payed £24,000 for it. It was a 53 plate :|.

Put a higher price on it, I bet you it still sells.

Ignore what Parker says it will be worth more!!!

I saw one for £9,250 from a VW garage the other day and it had just 5k less than mine - X reg!

I reckon if you ask for £6,000 you might well find a buyer with little trouble - desirable cars these GTis! 8)

I think £6,000 is more than fair, if you check volkswagen used car site you will see them at £7,495 etc ok some with low mileage etc but even although. think Parkers is a bit out, you cant buy a car for what they have advertised from any dealer.

I have to agree with most of you that £6000.00 is a fair price and that is what she shall go for shortly, just a few things i need to get sorted (financially) before i can advertise it.

expect to see it on here next week.
