Yeah, Revo are doing one, I've seen the adverts in PVW a while back and rang BBT about this and they were like, come back in three months as we only have two codes for normally aspirated engines right now (R32 and V6 4Motion IIRC) so it was back to the drawing board!

I sent an email to Revo and never heard anything back and spoke to JBS also but they were about to release their Custom Code and also confirmed that no codes were available for the GTI (from Revo).

It's kind of difficult to decide as I've heard some not so pleasing things about the Revo remap but they are cheaper than JBS but then I know that JBS is a totally custom remap and not an off the shelf remap...

I think the engines are the same, isn't it the engine management system that's different?

Some are filled with some kind of gel or sumfin, to stop them being tampered with it.

I could be wrong though.

Oh yes they are....

Thats if you have a post 2000 Gti...

Polo Gti engines come in 2 flavours

1)The "older" ARC code engine

and

2)The latest AVY code engine.

ALL Lupo Gti's and latest Polo Gti's have the AVY engine...

Don't ask me about their differences...I'm trying to figure that out for the last 3.5 years......

Yes that is true...The AVY engine has Euro4 emission standards, but i was refering to the performance and/or build of the engine...
