POLO GTI HELP

Post by KEVSGTI »

Hi guys i am new to the forum and new to the VW tuning scene. I have just bought a polo gti and i am lowering it tommorow on FK coilovers. Looking to sort a few other things out with my car could do with some help please.

I am looking to buy a strut brace for my polo gti but all the one's i have seen are red,i am looking for a chrome or yellow one. Strutbracer on ebay is selling a chrome flat bar type strut brace to fit a 1.4 16v vw polo 1994-2000 would this fit my 2001 POLO GTI ?

I am also looking to buy new alloys for my GTI any ideas and pictures of any nice rims. Think i want something like LENSO SHUs what do you think ? i am a fan of polished rims dunno if i could stretch to a set though.

Any help appreciated guys.

Lenso is a bit jap for me, I know which ones you mean but not my liking Im affraid.

With regards to polished wheels and stretching to the cost, search german ebay for a set of wheels you like (alurad), get a good cheap price for them (expect to pay approx £50 postage) and refurb them yourself.

Its hard work but the end result is a cracking looking set of rims that hopefully not many others will have.

My rims weere in fairly bad condition when I got them:

A bit of hard work and hey presto:

And you would be suprised how much it has cost me to do this!

Expecting to have all 4 finished this weekend and I get my car back from the bodyshop on Thursday next week. So hopefully next weekend I'll get some pics of the finished product up!
