dash removal

can any one tell me how the dash comes out?
ive loosened the 3 screws that hold it in place yet its like theres another screw at the back of the dash holding the top down.
the front half lifts up but i cant get it to seperate from the back of the bulk head {330}

you're talking about dash (with instruments) or whole cockpit?
I have trouble removing cockpit, too

yeh, the dash board

finally finally found where i was going wrong though.

turns out they have 2 nuts holding it in place like the mk3's and 2's under the scutle panel.

only when you look under the scuttle panel, loolk up slightly. the amount of times ive looked under there and ive been missing them by about a cetimeter

Which type of cockpit ? Old one ( round) or new one( like the polo MK2) ??
