I picked up up for £80 (ish) including 4 good tyres
There was a guy on ebay "nigel furr" who flogs the VAG five spoke versions for £100 brand new!!!
Till I find the link heres a few I found I know you said 13" but 14's look better

Just type in '13' on ebay under Alloy Wheels and it'll bring up a whole choice, everything from oldskool mk1 golf alloys like mine to more modern sport raiders like bstardchild mentioned. Be warned though, you won't be able to fit anything made for a ford, citroen or peugeot to name a few, as the stud spacings are different. The spacing you need is PCD 100, as found on VW, vauxhall and renault amongst others. If you get a wheel not designed specifically for a VW you'll also need to get spigot rings made up so that they fit your hubs properly so they won't judder or work loose.
If you're not entirely comfortable with the technical business of wheels, you'd be best off looking for a 13" wheel made specifically for a golf or polo. This includes all of the early mk1 golf alloys, any polo alloys up to mk3, some mk4 polo alloys and some mk2/3 golf alloys such as the sport raiders.
As for tyres, easiest thing is to get your current tyres fitted to the new wheels. If you're getting new tyres or the wheels come fitted with them, make sure they're no bigger than 165/70r13 or you may get scrubbing problems on the rear arches.

cheers for those suggestions, they are alright, but i want sometin a bit more old skool on the wheels, but at the mo, alloys are alloys.
thanks again, ill keep you posted on my wheels, and my upcoming audio install, will be nothing much, just a nice cd/mp3 head unit, an amp, sub and some speakers.
thanks again.

Something of that lot may appeal.. tried to cover as many different ideas of 'oldskool' as I could think of, any of the above could be refurbed and look very cool on a polo
