Post by KEVSGTI »

I am new to the forum and have a polo gti. Its a silver y reg 3 door and i have lowered it but need new wheels.

SO WHAT ONES DO I GET ? I want polished split rims or something like that in 15".

Any suggestions on what to get and pictures would be great.

Hell yes. TH-line 3-piece splitties 8)

Available as a 16"x8"-wide rim. 195/40s might streeeetch over them? There is a single-piece version of the same rim in 15" size if you really want to stay with 15"s though :)

I like Ronal Turbo's. I'd go for those. 8)

Sorry guys mine has the standard gti split rims but they are in need of a refurb and the average price to put them back to new condition is around £450 and they will need 4 new tyres too (about £300).
Thought about getting new wheels with tyres because they work out about roughly the same price and i can have a go at repairing my original gti wheels at my own leasure when i get a chance.

Was just looking to see what wheels would suit my car as i am no good a picking a set. I tried looking at the members rides pictures too to get ideas.

Seems a bit dear for tyres.......

Depends on the colour of your car

Silver - got to be Ronal Turbo's
Red - have to be a gun metal or black finish maybe 5 or 6 spokes
Black - get either 3 spokes in pink or Ronal Teddy's
