hi, new on here seems a very handy site.
heres a pic of my mk1 polo, its done 38k and has polished compomotives on it. i plan to lower it for the summer and genarally clean it up a bit. click on the pic for a bigger version.

this is our other polo, its a rather nice mk4 16v in satin silver with bbs solitude wheels on, had it nearly 2 years and its fair to say that its a minter. covered 45k and its got full vw history. totally standard in evry way.

thanks for comments guys, didnt mean to confuse
so your putting a 16v lump in yours then steB? that sounds good, will it be a polo 1.4 16v or a golf 1.8 16v. i think the berg cup polo's had the 16v's in but not sure which ones.
i'd like to stick a 1.3 coupe S engine in mine, my bro has one that is tuned to 75 BHP which would just slot into my mk1 nicely. ooooh one day.

i should be taking collection of a 1400 16v (AFH code) lump, however, being a poor student doing his first engine conversion, it may take a while

i reckon the coupe s conversion is the best bang-for-your-buck conversion on a mk1... nice and cheap, nice and simple and nice power (without going silly!)
