Oh dear, another GTi bites the dust, not good.

V-reg? Very early GTi then?

Never seen a v-reg GTi before.

According to the dealership I bought my W-plate GTi from (although you have to take nearly everything they tell you with a liberal pinch of salt!) mine was an early car, it was registered in May 2000. A T-plate is '99, so a V-plate must be very early 2000 - possibly one of the first GTis registered on these shores? Its a shame to hear of this one being involved in a shunt but unfortunately these things happen, just hope the people involved are OK!

Cars like these often go to a specialist broker, aye. Still, worth keeping an eye on!
