THE UK-POLOS.NET South-East meet 2006 (UPDATED)

Post by SpikeyG40 »

right guys, here's a little more information for you:

my personal preference is to put the post code into a route planner, so here is the address:

The Wharf
Cotton Lake
Galleon Boulevard
Crossways
Dartford
Kent
DA2 6QL

other than that, here are some directions that have been used for the last couple of years, and as far as i am aware, no one has got lost, so:

FROM ESSEX (CLOCKWISE M25):

Travel towards the Dartford crossing, go over the bridge and go to a left hand toll booth - take the NEXT exit. At the first round about go straight over (2nd exit) signposted CROSSWAYS. You will now be travelling parallel to the M25. Go straight over another round about, and the road bears to the right, then there's another roundabout. Turn right here. Go straight over the next little roundabout and the pub is on the right hand side.

FROM KENT (ANTI-CLOCKWISE M25):

Travel towards the Dartford crossing, just before the crossing, take the last exit you can. (1A) At the round about, take the 3rd exit (right) and cross over the M25. Now bear left (1st exit) towards CROSSWAYS!. You will now be travelling parallel to the M25. Go straight over another round about, and the road bears to the right, then there's another roundabout. Turn right here. Go straight over the next little roundabout and the pub is on the right hand side.

FROM M2/A2 (EITHER DIRECTION)

Come off at Bluewater turning and head towards bluewater. When you see the signs that say "USE BOTH LANES FOR BLUEWATER" stay in the right hand lane. When you get to the roundabout, go straight ahead (i think) and join the dual carrage way. At the next round about (macdonalds on the right) go straight ahead. At the next round about (ASDA) turn left. Go straight over the next one (Burger King) and then left at the next one. Straigh over the little roundabout and the pub is down there on the right.

Thanx to Mole for writing these for the meet a couple of years back!

hope that helps everyone!

so just to confirm :We will be ariving from around 10.30 so any time after that would be good. the pub itself doesn't open till 12!

The invite is extended to other members who don't have a polo but are still interested all the same. also if you have any other fellow dubbers who don't mind a few polos, they are very welcome to bring there metal along! interesting all the same! :P

of course, all UK-P meetings and events rules apply!

look forward to seeing you all on the 29th!

kind regards
Doug

I've put flyers on all the Polo's in the carpark at work. All of then ladies. I've had a word with one or two. They seem to be interested. So fingers crossed that they come. :D

You know that they'll be spending most of their time with me though. So polopowah might be a bit disappointed.
